I'm getting better at figuring out what music to recommend to my daughter. Based on her tastes, I thought she might enjoy shoegaze music, so I played My Bloody Valentine's Loveless CD in the car tonight and she said she "really liked it."

That's a good feeling. We're still at the phase where she ACTIVELY avoids anything I suggest.
@jacklaridian It's kind of two way - she's managed to get me into Adrianne Lenker, Charli XCX, and Mitski.
I'm going to play her some Neko Case soon. I think she'd really dig her work.
@Tim_Eagon I discovered shoegaze music via "Who?" which was a catchy song by The Brian Jonestown Massacre that I heard on the Harmontown podcast and tracked down... Now I just had to go hunt for it again. :)
@croyle I'm not the biggest fan of the genre, but I'm picking up a modern shoegaze band's new EP on Saturday. They're out of Phoenix, AZ and are named Glixen.
@croyle @Tim_Eagon I got hooked when I saw The Cranes perform for the Cure. Maybe it was 1992.
