so I finally found a comfortable client to use on , and it's weechat-android.

I am not that fond of weechat itself, and weechat-android depends on at least a headless client running on an accessible machine (in my case my vps), but once it's running it's incredibly comfy to use.

that is to say, I guess I could have had it easier by using irccloud or something similar (paid most likely), but the idea was to have a completely server, where I have total control

@kyonshi I quite like irccloud but I understand the desire to run it all yourself. I've never understood why irccloud doesn't just accept standard mirc style markups though. It's really irritating if you've been using them since the 90s
