The only thing more precious than a good GM is a good player.
A player who shows up on time, makes the table laugh, takes notes, brings food and drink, reads the rules, helps others with the rules, helps schedule the next game by sending out the Doodle, hosts and/or sticks around to help clean up?
That player has never heard of a "GM shortage".
@nerdparker 100%!! Good players make good DMs! It's honestly easy to be a good DM when playing with players who "get it".
Collaborative story telling is multitudes better when players and DMs push together, rather than riding along or scattering to the wind
@FrontierMaps As a GM, my players are my muses. They're amazing.
They've followed me into #FitD, #PbtA, #Cortex, #Spectaculars, #Vaesen, anything I want to run - they show up.
My desire to run traditional #DnD is near zero. But when my incredible players ask to play D&D because they want to know what rolling a 20 feels like...
I still said no. But I'm running #13thAge because I love them.
@nerdparker I've only been at this a few years but Ia lovely D&D DM got me hooked a few years back. I've been running two separate games with two incredible groups for almost two years, all online.
We're starting a #PF2 game soon and I've gotten luckily playing a few wild games with #troika #RollForShoes #godbound and a few others who's name eludes me.
Looking forward to broader horizons!
