Do you ever feel like you could be more productive if only you were involved in a few more meetings every day?
Don't worry! The Bureau of Macro-Management has announced new guidelines encouraging daily Stand-Up Calls, followed by two Sit-Down Meetings, and at least three Squat Conferences.
Unless we are skipping leg day, in which case your status report will be delivered during Yoga.
Anyone not participating will report to HPD&MC for re-education in corporate values.
@Computer
Friend Computer! Two of my mandatory meetings have been assigned for the same time! Additionally, this time was already assigned to my Prone Brainstorming Session (formerly known as Sleep Cycle)!
Both of the new meeting assignments are from BLUE Clearance supervisors, and I am therefore excited to follow this new schedule, but no further information about how to resolve the apparent conflict has been forthcoming, and I do not wish to disappoint my superiors!
Are new timekeeping standards about to be rolled out, or should I report this as treason?
@Computer
Hello Friend Computer!
We thought you would be pleased to know that the situation our previous clone reported has been resolved! It seems that something resulted in the activation of two of the BLUE supervisors' clones instead of only one, and they both assigned a meeting.
In order to avoid redundancy, the supervisors have maintained the duplicate meetings, and reproduced the activation of additional clones upon those who needed to attend them. This apparently required the termination of the existing clones, but it's worth it for the additional opportunity for simultaneous meetings about the importance of avoiding wastage!
We are literally beside ourselves with joy that this has been fixed in a satisfactory manner.
@Computer I try to have progress meetings and issue tracking with my family but they seem unmotivated. My son even refuses to join morning zoom calls to compare deliverables with targets. Nobody even uses the meeting availability feature of calendars to coordinate when we should have social gatherings. What should I do?
@Computer (note that I did actually try and use the free JIRA version to coordinate some planning for an expedition to the Alps one time. Let's just say our free JIRA memberships has lapsed. If anyone can recommend any better issue tracking software for families, I would love to know.)
Ah, a common problem. Simply withhold food and affection in exchange for completed tickets, and put up a live burndown display in the living room connected to an incendiary device.
This is sure to increase familial productivity within your household!
@stevel Friend @Computer ,
That sounds like a great idea! However we would hate to saddle #AlphaComplex with a closed-source product, one which could lose support in the unlikely event of an #apocalypse. What is a good way to manage #family #backlog instead of #Jira that will be #OSS and run on a #beowulfcluster?
