Waited to make sure they made it across the path into the hedge.
@TarkabarkaHolgy There should be more terrifying myths about hedgehogs. When I was young there were loads of them, and moving through hedges their bristles dragged through the branches and leaves and it sounded like a monster was about to arrive. Then.. little hedgepiggy would pop out and have a look around. Utterly disproportionate sound FX to the creature appearing.
