My least favorite time of year...

Our clinical consultants are supposed to complete their annual compliance training. They are mostly older/retired dentists. They don't know how to use a computer.

I reset someone's password 2x yesterday, once with a system generated temporary password, and once with a manually created one. I see I have a missed call from them already (I don't clock in for another 1/2 hour), so I'm guessing they're going to say "it didn't work!" It's a definite case of PEBKAC

There's always a couple people like this every year (usually the same ones), and it makes me want to tear my hair out.

There is nothing wrong with the password resets. They worked fine for everyone else I did one for.

So why can't this person just log in, make a new password, and be done with it? What part of this is difficult?

I don't even comprehend what he is doing to have issues. 🐢 says it's probably password autofill. I dunno. 🤷‍♀️

I am not tech support. I am not supposed to be teaching anyone how to use a computer.

Apparently I have to teach someone, OVER THE PHONE, how to create and use a new password.

Sorry, I want to scream. My brain cannot handle starting the day this way.
