Working on my connections between laptop and rpi. For some reason my Linux notebook just doesn't reach the rpi via uucp, and it doesn't make any sense at all.

gave up for now.
it actually connects.
and then it times out.
I still don't know why though.
it works for all the other systems, just my own doesn't like it.
