Considering tools that I could use to draw battle maps for . There's a heavy bias in mapping tools toward fantasy (for obvious reasons) so finding themed sets is challenging.

chronosbuilder.comChronos Builder Chronos Builder is the ultimate tool for creating tabletop role-playing game maps.

There's also , which has , and tile sets and assets. I'm playing with the free version now. A plus is that it does animated maps (never built one of those before) but the art style is a little ... I don't know, cartoon-y? I don't know how I feel about that aesthetic.

As background, I'm building out an underground corporate complex for our next run, so I need something that's more "dungeon-build-y" than overland (which is how we used Talespire at @lairofsecrets before).

@nukehavoc #ChronosBuilder has improved rapidly, and (imo) is worth a look. I use it and enjoy it.

I need to look at your other suggestion - #Arkenforge - as that looks interesting as well.

@rockylhotka Hmm. Ok. it doesn't cost that much (about $40) so I may try it out. Thanks for the feedback!

@nukehavoc I've used Chronos, and it's just flat out hard to get going on.
