More reasons to love solo RPGs: I got to a boring part last night and realized that getting through it was gonna be a roadblock to playing anything that night. So basically just wrote a summary and moved on, and even did a bunch of the follow-up very fast-and-loose.
I tend to play and write in prose at the same time, and it can be easy to forget that nobody is reading this but me, and I can just 'yadda yadda yadda' the sloggish parts.
It was a village tribunal, which normally would be extremely my shit to play/write, but I just wasn't feeling it, and the trial was pretty cut and dry since my character had secured some evidence.
The #Ironsworn rules just kinda smoothed everything out and gave me a nice blank canvas again, so I can continue steering it toward being essentially the memoir of a young monster hunter and her role in the foundation of a cabal of wizards.
