I bought a new car this past weekend; an EV. I will be installing a level 2 charger in my garage this weekend, but until then I figured that I could head to the local outlet mall to charge up on their DC fast chargers to get me through to this weekend.
Nope! The DC chargers are all down, all that's working is the level 2 J1772 chargers. It's better than nothing, I guess.
To be clear, I can plug my car into a 120V outlet in my garage right now and have it charge all night. But I'll barely get above an 80 mile range overnight! I guess that's fine, but still cutting things a bit too close for my liking...
