On one hand, if your Fediverse server is down, it *currently* doesn’t help you much that the Fediverse is decentralized.
On the other hand, I hope we’ll eventually have nomadic identity (*) in the Fediverse. Then we can run continuous backups of our accounts and easily switch whenever an outage happens.
