@kernpanik #Bodø, #Norway has a couple too, but those are in the area surrounding the Norwegian Aviation Museum, such as the Bell UH-1B Iroquois helicopter.

Long before #USBC was pushing out 3½mm #headphoneJacks, #HTC had already tried the same with for instance their #TyTNII aka Kaiser. (Whose form factor with slide-out keyboard and tiltable screen I still kinda miss...)
Today I came across my 3-in-1 USB adapter I got for it at the time: #MiniUSB plug on one end, and on the other end ports for a 3½mm headphone, mini-USB for power/transfer, and HTC's own headphone jack.

On top the usual symbols are embossed for each port.

Same adapter, but now seen with the bottom up, showing the label:

- Convert to 3.5 StereoJack
- Convert to HTC Jack"
and the usual CE compliance, USB, RoHS, and no trash (?) logos/symbols, and "Made in China" text.
It also shows the plus are housed in a semi-circle shaped plastic casing, with a short mini USB lead coming out the back.

For reference, this is the #photograph I used as reference.

Photograph of the aforementioned winter scene of a sunrise behind snow-covered mountains, distant city lights and trees, and plenty of snow in the foreground.
In the photo there's more to see of the snow in the foreground, and the sky more of a light grey blue towards the horizon and dark blue clouds towards the top, with less orange pink clouds diagonally from the left towards the sunrise.

There are four, no, five lights! With purple, orange, yellow, white, and link streaks of fireworks spreading from the bright white centres, in a starburst pattern, in the sky above several snow-covered Norwegian homes.

Another photo of the #AuroraBorealis #NorthernLights in the sky last night.
#LongExposure photo taken with my #Xiaomi #RedmiNote10Pro with stock camera app, and cropped and post-processed in #googlePhotos to make the colours pop a bit more. Nice to see a bit of pink in there too.

Looking for recommendations for #tripod and tripod-adapter solutions for my Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro phone, preferably something I don't need to remove my wallet case for to use.
Currently using said wallet case to sort of balance my phone at an angle to capture #auroraBorealis aka #northernLights, but the case itself isn't very solid and only has a couple of angles where it stays in place, and it relies on having a flat surface to place it on.

@SueZipkin have a 'sour face' and a 'sad clown' in return. ;)

A yellow pansy (and some white petals behind it) with brown and orange markings in the center which make it look like it has a sour looking face.

I want to go to bed earlier than normal, but I'm having a cup of #tea now because I realised I haven't had caffeine today, and I don't want to get hit by a delayed lack of caffeine headache tomorrow...

(For those interested, it's loose leaf Lapsang Souchong with a dash of my home-made masala chai simple syrup in it.)

A MyCuppaTea tea mug with tea inside, held in place by my knit blanket (black with stripes if vibrant yellow, orange, green, and blue). The mug has coloured stripes on the inside to indicate the 'strength' of the tea's milk contents: Milky, Classic British, Builders Brew and Just Tea. Despite not having any milk in it, I'd say it's between Builders Brew and Just Tea.

@polpo my #MSX of choice is still the Philips #NMS8250 #MSX2, mostly because it's the one I grew up with, and there's just something about having a separate keyboard, and being able to place a monitor on top of the machine.

A Philips NMS 8250 MSX2 home computer with two 3.5" Double Density diskdrives (technically making it an 8255 I guess...), with its keyboard lying on top of it.

It's a rectangular, anthracite, horizontal style computer case, with a power button with green LED on the left, and a reset button on the right. On its right side it has 2 cartridge slots; one of them currently occupied by a Bubble Bobble game cart
The keyboard has cream coloured keys, with dark grey keys for the modifier, cursor and function keys.

While I was out walking while talking to a friend from the Netherlands whom I hadn't spoken to in far too long, I spotted some Aurora Borealis aka northern lights in the sky. It was quite active for a while, and I got to try out the long exposure modes on my new phone with it.
Pretty chuffed by the results.

I also thought it was pretty amazing in hindsight how I could take those pictures with the same device as the one I was simultaneously talking with to a person who was several thousands of kilometres away from me, and could directly share them with him even.
As terrible as the surveillance is that comes with these devices and services, sometimes these mobiles phones can be pretty amazing...
