Undetectable body #camera suggestions please.
I need to get proof of #abuse.

Never used them before so if you have & can recommend an easy to use one I would be very grateful.
Authorities don’t care about #psychological abuse & #neglect because there’s no proof so I need to get evidence of it & have missed a lot of opportunities. I need to wear it any time I’m around anyone else here. Never know when someone will do something awful.

I’m very sick so can’t be too complicated to use.

Help appreciated. I need to get out here.

Gas mantles get very hot.

There are still British Gas employees whose job it is to light Londons remaining 200-odd working gas lamps. Imagine your job title is literally serial gaslighter.

(This gas lamp in Carting Lane, London was placed over a sewer in Victorian times to encourage stagnant gas to rise and escape through the vent.
It’s the only one left which is still working.) #gaslight #gaslamp #london #sewers #history #britishgas

In addition, if you look very carefully at the right hand side, just below the glazed section, you can see the small tap which would have been turned on to let the gas flow through to the mantle before it was lit. This would have been done each night by one of Glasgow's army of leeries or lamplighters. They'd then return in the morning to turn off the tap, so extinguishing the flame.

A former gas lamp (now converted to an electric one) on North Gate to Victoria Park in the west of Glasgow. It's one of a pair created, along with the rest of the gate, in 1887, by Walter MacFarlane's Saracen Foundry. You can tell it was originally a gas lamp because it has an open base and a vented cap at the top (needed to allow oxygen in to feed the flame).

I feel like "2401 Pentent Tangent" and just want to scream at them: "Did you skipped biology classes? Cuz #CovidIsAirborne and just because politicans and corporations agreed to collectively #gaslight us doesn't undo the #fact that #CovidIsNotOver even tho we'd all want it to be over!"

  • I don't know if these people value their lives but last time I checked disability benefits are so insultingly low that people suffering #LongCovid - based #Unemployability and other comorbilities like #MECFS often can barely survive...

@forestine very interested just can’t give it the proper space to enjoy/appreciate, yet (coffee listen tomorrow tho.) my partner hit the #gaslight lottery while out at the theatre last night. Try to be supportive to them but I’m sure you can understand how putting on my headphones right now can come off as a super-trig.

Just finished watching the original movie “Gaslight,” with the one and only Ingrid Bergman. Haven’t seen it in years! Most of us “of a certain age” know this is where the term “gaslight” originated.

My favorite part is when Ms. Bergman takes back her power - so unusual in female roles back then! - and Charles Boyer finally gets his comeuppance.

Great movie, particularly due to that great ending…
