For today’s #GayBookReviews I look at another installment of the Chronicles of Tournai, “The Dragon’s Devotion” by Eryn Ivers. #Fantasy #MMRomance #GayRomance

Corentin has a secret. Keeping it means keeping his people safe from an outside world that once hunted them down. That’s why he came to Tournai, to find out what Lord Etan really knew about dragons, which most people thought were legends, like the giant cats protecting Tournai. Bastien is related to the royal family, but has spent most of his time running the family’s estates away from the capital since his parents died in a boating accident, along with the Crown Prince and Princess. Bastien and his sister are about to travel to the capital when he receives a note telling him his parents were actually murdered. Things get even more complicated when Bastien meets Corentin, and the two feel an instant attraction to each other. It can’t really go anywhere, but the heart doesn’t always listen to reason.

Sazahk has an almost insatiable curiosity and desire to help people, but that has gotten him into trouble in the past and he is now a pariah among his own people. The two are complete opposites. Can they get along?

After looking at another shopfront that didn’t pan out, the underground is too busy to use right away, so he decides to grab a meal at a pub. The food is awful, but the waiter Jake is cute and definitely gets his attention. Jake doesn’t really like being a waiter, but it’s the only job he could get. His Tourette syndrome tends to put people off. Jake is very attracted to Tom, but there’s one problem: Tom’s partner, Cass. The two have an open relationship and don’t get to spend much time together, but that doesn’t make it feel right.
