My kids are out of school for Spring Break.

So far, I’ve finished reading Emily Wilde's Compendium of Lost Tales by Heather Fawcett and read all of The Geographer's Map to Romance (Love's Academic Book 2) by India Holton.

I might just grab whatever's on top of the stack to read next.

Yesterday I finished the third volume of #IndiaHolton's trilogy: "The Whisteria Society of Lady Scoundrels", "The League of Gentlewomen Witches" and "The Secret Service of Tea and Treason" are witty, absurd and great fun to read. I mean women pirates with flying houses in victorian england?
The books have these great paratexts, the stortelling is selfconcious about it's genre and tropes and did I mention that the main characters in volume 3 are definitley neurodivergent?

The 3rd outing in the "Dangerous Damsels" series brings all of the characters together for a hilarious madcap romp. Queen Victoria may be in danger, but from whom? The pirates? The witches? Two secret agents with a forbidden attraction for one another need to find out, fast. I had to put this novel down just now. I laughed so hard I had a coughing and gagging fit with tears pouring down my face. #IndiaHolton is hilarious.
