I've run to the other room to bear about Open science cloud infrastructure and training for communities in Latin America and Africa by @jennywong - Catalyst project lowers the barrier to cloud using #OpenSource tools and #OpenInfrastructure to avoid vendor lock-in. This is a work done by @2i2c_org @thecarpentries unc supercómputo, @TheCSCCE @investinopen @MetaDocencia and #OLS
They have got a Hub champion training lesson and translated material into Spanish using #crowdin all integrated with GH actions, from the creation till the deployment. Many lessons learnt in translations.
Regarding delivery, they've incorporated asynchronous self-study time components to help access from different time zones.

Just watched a really interesting music video by a one-woman band called OLS from Poland.
As far as I can tell, there are no vile ideologies involved with this, and a part of it is about women's empowerment.
Can someone from Poland maybe give me their two cents about the band and the ideology behind it? I would like to promote it if it's ideologically OK (no right-wing political bullshit - u need to be careful with stuff like this).
