The cease fire between Israel and Iran does not appear to apply to cyber warfare. #Tether and other #stablecoin companies have been seizing a lot of Iranians' assets almost certainly at Israel's request... which is kind of funny when you know that:

1) Tether has more or less openly encouraged Iranians to use Tether as a way to evade sanctions for years

2) Benjamin Netanyahu's son Yair spends a lot of time with Tether's founders.

Jeffrey Epstein's arrest seems to have set off a wave of suspicious crypto payments that have heretofore gone unexamined.

1. The 2nd highest volume day in bitcoin history came a week after Epstein died.

2. #Stablecoin transfer volumes doubled less than 48 hours after Epstein was arrested. In particular #Tether, the stablecoin whose money is managed by Epstein's next door neighbor and #Trump's current Secretary of Commerce, saw on chain volumes skyrocket.

Also there's the matter of a bunch of suspicious deaths among Epstein's crypto circle.

Ever since the big reveal of the nonsensical Trump Tariff Equation Americans have been coming to grips with a reality in which their financial future appears to be more or less entirely dependent on a series of wild proclamations emanating at random intervals from the mind of an economically illiterate and extremely orange madman who is drunk on his own power.

This decidedly less than ideal situation has created a reality where Donald Trump can award vast wealth to his friends and followers just by sending a few late night tweets tipping them off about what he's about to say.

It just so happens that data about stock market activity bears out this theory: someone is insider trading on Trump's tweets.

#PeteHegseth's in the news lately because of a "mishap" with a Signal group chat involving possibly top secret information about killing #Houthis. You might think this demonstrates poor judgment.

This is all less surprising if you know that Hegseth is a crypto bro who lost a bunch of money in possibly the most obvious cryptocurrency ponzi scheme in history, #CelsiusNetwork. Hegseth entrusted the group of Russian Israelis running #Celsius with his hard earned money *even after* the CFO of the firm was sent to prison in #Israel for #moneylaundering and organized crime connections.

tl;dr Maybe America should reconsider putting crypto bros in charge of the military.
