Tak jsem dneska definitivně odpálil telefon. On teda funguje, ale displej je černej.

Někdo tip, jak se dostat do #ADB, když ten telefon nejde ovládat a debugging je evidentně vypnutej?

Případně jinej nápad, jak to odzálohovat?

@davx5app many years ago a friend of mine has set up #davx5 for me with all my different accounts and agendas on diverse source (framagenda, nextcloud, calendar, contacts etc.). Now I want to export all this configuration to my new phone. How do I do that? Oh please do not tell me that I have to re-suscribe to all my accounts one by one. Note that I can use #ADB if necesary but I need instruction as for where to get the folder.

I'm in dire need of a cellphone, even if it isn't smart, but #handy anyway, as it is my bridge to the internet.

I'm in the middle of no where and the handy is located on sort of cellTower in 5m high in a specific 8x20cm space where there is quite good connection for the antenna.

I only have #googleMaps activated, the rest is blocked or uninstalled.

@fdroidorg has the #auroraStore #APP to emulate access to specific playStore APP's.

Not that it is very important but I would like to use adb to pull files off my android phone and then have them in a tar archive. That could be done by putting the files somewhere and then making the archive. What would make me feel super cool would be if I could pipe the output of adb pull path/to/folder into tar but I couldn't work out how. There must be a way of doing it, but I am not clever enough to work it out.

At the end I could boot from the specific System 6.0.8 disk. At this point I would like to start troubleshooting the #BlueSCSI , that never worked, but I can no more ignore a bigger problem: #keyboard and #trackball are not working. Or at least, they _almost_ never work... I disassembled the trackball and found it in good state, removed cleaned and reinserted all the flat cables, but the issue remains. I think there's some sort of bus contention on the #ADB bus. I'm studying the specs and tomorrow I'll take a look with the #oscilloscope.
In the meanwhile, I discovered the screen suffers of #tunnelvision, as almost all the #powerbook170, unfortunately

So while making ADB-helper I tested the functionality on the various applications on my phone, and actually discovered three separate vulnerabilities in as many applications along the way.

One was a misconfigured exposed Content Provider that leaked private data (others were misconfigured deep links that circumvented lock screens).

All three companies were notified, and all three actually paid out bounties for the finds. Which was fun.

Ach, übrigens: Manche kennen das feine Tool #scrcpy, mit dem man #Android-Geräte inkl. Bild, Ton und Eingabegeräten komplett fernsteuern kann. Dazu braucht man allerdings eine aktive #ADB-Verbindung (Android Debugging Bridge) . Am Wochenende habe ich gelernt, dass man über scrcpy --otg auch ohne ADB per USB verbundene Android-Geräte mit Maus und Tastatur fernsteuern kann. 🤓

Über die #schiersteinerbruecke zwischen #Wiesbaden und #Mainz führen zwei Radwege. Einer davon ist zurzeit gesperrt. Dass an der Äppelallee kein Hinweis darauf steht, sondern erst auf der Brücke - doof, aber zu verkraften (wenn man sich auskennt).
