Koreans cannot pronounce L either… It drove me crazy as a kid being called Rori or Rorraine…

To name your company b/c you think it’s hilarious to see people struggle saying the name is… sociopathic, mean & cruel

Plus LuluLemon makes trash products & nobody should be wearing #microfiber #spandex #fossilFuel #plasticIsTheNewCoal products anyways. It feels suffocating & also retains odors… super gross

Even that 3% elastane woven in w/silk, cotton, wool etc is harmful & it kills your clothes making them unwearable

If we stopped using single use plastic in the form of drink cups, soda/liquid/drink bottles, food packaging, shampoo & product packaging, AND stopped buying #fastFashion #shein #lululemon & the like, it would go far in helping this giant mess we’ve created as these things don’t degrade for 200-400 years #plasticIsTheNewCoal #fossilFuel #COP28

cons:

1. no bacteria resistence so clothes get stinky fast, thus frequent washing needed

2. microplastics leech into the water with every wash sending microplastics to city sewer systems which don’t typically filter microplastics so they go into rivers. (Perhaps non-issue for septic tanks)

pros:

3. needs no tumble drying; air-dries in an hour; huge+ in the US where all tumble dryers are vented

4? do the dyes of plastics leech out? Plastic colors seem to be baked in

By one estimate, they account for as much as one-third of all microplastics released to the ocean.
