This is what I received last night as I was setting up to SPS post.

Company assumed everyone uses AI. Checked prices. Got mad at human writing cost, assuming the difference was a markup for AI content.

So here's a whole thread.

I apologize for the late response. I know you have been trying to reach us and Robert was telling you he'd get started today. I am contacting you before the weekend starts. Unfortunately, he was incorrect. He is too just upset to speak with you and that is why I am reaching out instead. We are so disappointed after research with the pricing in the contract. Robert found what you are probably paying for AI content. He is enraged. As are we all here. Your deception is disgusting. We would have been happy if you were honest. A fair editorial rate is fair. When you can generate dozens of times more than what we asked for at the price we almost paid you? That is deeply unfair. You should be ashamed as a freelance writer to charge that much when AI does almost all the work for you. We assumed you would use AI. We also assumed you would charge us a fair price. Seeing the pricing directly for ourselves I don't know how you tricked Robert into that contract with no shame. If you have any f
