"I'd LIKE TO THINK this means NO MORE BUILDING in them, but I doubt it. Years ago a friend in #BigSur contacted me and told me NOT to sign a petition to turn part of Pfeiffer National Forest there into a "#Wilderness Area". I went to my local #congresscreeps orifice and got a copy of the 👉full👈 CONgressional Bill, and sure enough, "Wilderness" meant more bathrooms, kiosks, roads. See that CON in 'gress'? What it means."

"Big Fog" for #MeerMittwoch (even though it's Thursday in the German-speaking part of the world already, sorry😉)

Rugged old seastacks in dense summer fog that keeps the immediate coast nice and cool. Just half a mile further inland it's clear blue skies and much, much warmer. Big Sur, California, August 2021.
