Today i've learned that i don't need coder. I am now deploying an #ubuntu container from a #Dockerfile with an #openssh #server installed. This is a much better setup. Nearly every #Codeeditor supports #ssh workspaces so i'm not limited.

But the best thing about this setup is that it is very easy to automate using #Ansible.

I've used the same approach to set up #kali #linux environments months ago and should have stuck with that. It just works.

Updates to Zed with even more AI…

I am not convinced the LLM support in code editors are actually “agents.” However, kudos to Zed to have built this all in Rust and keep the app native. It’s a _lot_ of work that went in to do that. In a world where every code editor brings these capabilities, one way to continue to differentiate yourself to the developer community is to consistently make choices that highlight your philosophy and taste.

I'm fascinated by the fact that there are so few good programming/code editors (it doesn't even have to be a full IDE) available for 32-bit Windows 10 🤔

Specially for "legacy" languages like C, C++, assembler, Pascal, and so on ...

(And chances are I've tried what you're about to suggest, but hit me with your best shot.)

You can keep scrolling, just had to get that off my chest after searching for four hours ... 🥸

🚀 Exciting update!

One year after LBRY bankruptcy, Odysee announces its future plans, will leave the LBRY blockchain in the end of the year, in favor of Arweave, plans to build a Fediverse-like content sharing network:
odysee.com/@Odysee:8/futureofo
(Will be interesting to see how they manage to keep content hosted on LBRY available. Hopefully uploads will remain free of charge (Arweave requires upload fee). But overall I like the idea, it gives more freedom to users, just like Fediverse does.)

I'm considering migrating back from Helix to NeoVim because of #Codium 😅

I've been using #Helix more than a year. The native multi-cursor (+ tree-sitter) selection is essential for me which is why I don't use NeoVim anymore. I even code on my phone 🤳 via termux when waiting on the hospital. The default Helix key combo/motion are pretty good even on mobile.

I wonder if anyone has use #NeoVim too on mobile screen 🤔. How's the experience?
