Deny: 2007, Nataline Sarkisyan (17) denied liver transplant on grounds that the operation was "too experimental" (Liver transplants date back to 60s).
Delay: 9 days later it changed its mind, in response to protests. It was too late: Nataline died hours later.
Defend: Employees heckled the family from a balcony; one man gave them the finger. CIGNA called the police and had family escorted from the building.
