If you're hitting those keys hard to get your abstract finished and still don't know where to send it - Please consider our session CL1.2.12: vegetation-wildfire-climate interactions. The session aims to bring together all arms of fire science. We invite contributions aimed at understanding land cover, vegetation, soil, sub-surface, and wildfire dynamics from present-day, through the Quaternary into deep time, and their interactions with climate on seasonal to orbital timescales.

Today, I presented a poster at the #EGU24 in Vienna. On behalf of my colleagues #AdamJonKronegh and #EsbenSkov and myself, I present the actual status of our #ROPEWALK ship journal digitization project, which is a joint venture of #Rigsarkivet (the National Archive of Denmark) and #DMI, funded by A.P. Møller Fonden. More than 50 people wanted to find out how far we've got with reading the data by means of machine learning. Maybe we can go into production mode soon, so see me at #EGU25!
