Ça y est ! J'ai enfin pu voir Conclave, ressorti inévitablement en salle aux vues du récent décès du Pape François.
Comme le titre l'indique, le film se centre donc sur cette période appelée, le conclave. C'est à dire, la réunion de nombreux cardinaux, à la Chapelle Sixtine afin de voter pour le prochain Pape. Cela peut durer plusieurs jours, tant qu'aucun cardinal n'a obtenu la majorité des 2 tiers et tant que ce vote n'a pas abouti, les cardinaux ont interdiction de quitter les lieux.
Il s'agit donc quasiment d'un huis-clos au Vatican et c'est bigrement stressant ! C'est un film mais contrairement aux séries the young pope et the new pope, qui m'avaient permis d'appréhender ce monde avec une pointe de fantastique pour laisser la place aux miracles de la foi, ici, tout pourrait clairement être réel et crédible pour tout un chacun et le doyen incarné par un, comme toujours, très bon Ralph Fiennes, a du boulot pour encadrer cette élection tout en tentant de démêler le vrai du faux de chaque accusation pouvant porter préjudice à certains candidats et mettre l'Eglise en difficulté.
Ça peut peut-être paraître assez lent mais personnellement, ça ne m'a paru que d'autant plus intense. J'espère que le conclave qui démarrera ce mercredi 07 mai, sera moins tendu
mais je peux vous dire que je vais m'y intéressé de très très près !

But her heart lies on Mama Farm, Long Island, where she oversees a predominantly female menagerie of goats, sheep and chickens and has just opened a bed-and-breakfast. She talked to Variety about what she's working on, why being described as an icon isn't a compliment, and the fleeting nature of fame. “I used to be introduced as 'Ingrid Bergman and Roberto Rossellini’s daughter,' and it bothered me, because I would think, 'I am my own person'," she says. "But now, the younger generation doesn’t know them, and it breaks my heart."
