Calling on #cisWomen :

Not in our name: Women in support of the trans+ community: petition.

"We reject - completely and categorically - the active discrimination and exclusion of #trans , #nonbinary and gender-diverse people. Those who continue to target this minority group do not speak for us or represent our interests. They never have. They never will."

X PASSPORTS are safe in #US for now, thanks to federal judge's humane ruling. As opposed to disgusting #UKSupremeCourt that expressed open contempt before dismissing my valid claim. Things are really bad in the States but IMO are much worse here.

I've fought for more than 30 years for legitimate identity. Still no X PASSPORT. I'm still effectively a non-person in this miserable country. Meanwhile entitled biddies empowered by transphobic #UKSupremeCourt & #JKR have a meltdown,

The Guardian · Scottish government faces legal action over failure to implement biological sex rulingBy Libby Brooks

#UKSupremeCourt ruling brought no clarity. Only confusion & despair. But the captured #EHRC saw an opportunity to further oppress a marginalized section it has a mandate & a duty to protect. Look out for a number of legal challenges in the coming weeks.

"Trans women to be strip-searched by male police officers after UK court ruling

"After the UK’s Supreme Court ruling on the legal definition of a woman, trans women held in custody by police in the UK will now be strip-searched by male officers, not female.

This is only going to make #Transphobia worse, with the threat of violence now the police get to decide the gender of officers doing strip searches, we should all be afraid

As my long wait for #Justice continues, almost 3 years after lodging my claim against the #UK at #Strasbourg, I cannot help but believe that had my case reached the #UKSupremeCourt under different leadership I'd have had an altogether different outcome.

#GoodLawProject sueing the shitty UK legal system and govt

"Maugham, a KC himself, added: “The stark and needlessly cruel position adopted by the Government and the #EHRC humiliates #trans people by forcing them to use the wrong toilets and obliges them to reveal deeply personal information about their gender to complete strangers just to take a wee."

The National · UK minister and watchdog sued over single-sex toilet guidanceBy Xander Elliards
Replied in thread

@Fat_Farang @Natasha_Jay the UK Parliament did. The #UKSupremeCourt then decided that the words in the legislation didn't mean what they said they meant, and our dear, principled, human rights lawyer Prime Minister #Starmer rolled over and said "oh, yes, of course you learned judges are right, laws don't mean what they say they mean."

After all, what good is the rule of law if judges can't just arbitrarily change it?
