Just wrapped up my first work trip to Toronto and I'm already feeling the sad about leaving. This city has stolen my heart with its vibrant energy and friendly people. Until next time, #YYZ #Toronto #WorkTrip #TravelBlues

Sunwing a annulé des vols cette semaine. Ils ont annulé tous les vols en direction du sud depuis les aéroports internationaux Pearson de Toronto (CYYZ) et de Pierre-Elliott-Trudeau de Montréal (CYUL).
Very glad to hear that everyone made it out from that crash landing yesterday at Toronto Pearson. Hoping the 2 people still in the hospital will have a quick recovery.
It's scary to think that it's been almost exactly 20 years since Air France Flight 358 went down at Pearson. Thankfully in both accidents, no lives were lost.

CBC interview with plane crash survivor, who happens to be a paramedic:
Re: the crash of the Delta plane at Toronto Pearson today...
In the safety briefing, they tell you that in the event that you need to evacuate the plane, you DO NOT STOP to get your carry-on luggage or anything else. You just go.
And my partner just saw video from the crash, with some asshole coming out of the plane dragging a gigantic suitcase.
The plane was upside-down, with wings broken off, and on fire. This was pretty much the textbook definition of "emergency evacuation".
Hey, jerk, what if you slowing everything down to grab your oh-so-important suitcase resulted in people behind you burning to death?
Can we find that guy, and charge him with something serious? "I'm too important to leave my carry-on behind, I don't care if it puts others at risk" is NOT OKAY.
I know it's been windy today and we're still trying to dig out from under all the snow, but now there's a plane on it's back at Pearson airport.
