TIL (today I learned) that nixery.dev is really handy to put together a #container #image on the fly, i.e. you only specify the #nix packages you would like inside the image:
podman run -ti --rm nixery.dev/git/bash/go bash
(and you get an image with git, bash and go)
So I am trying to deploy #overleaf for work, but without #docker. I follow these instructions https://gist.github.com/Wurzelmann/b6e4628a964cd450f5b34b7ace622264 but it is so time consuming, because the it has some weird stuff in it, like using ubuntu repos, using #nginx instead of #apache etc. that I am really considering giving up and just try to get the #container running instead.

Wrote a little parser for meshcore packets tonight. It's still messy and a lot more to implement. But, it reads the container format so I'm happy for now.
I have meshcore packets flowing from multiple repeaters(on different frequencies) talking on wifi using udp broadcasts.
The repeaters automatically discover each other on the network and now I'm able to watch their chatter with a quick nodejs server.
