My goal was to enjoy it and experience the atmosphere of these classic and traditional trail race. If everything went good I wanted to finish it below 9 hours. That’s what I hoped for. Didn’t plan for 8 hours. 

What a race. After only having it done once I can really recommend it. What a beautiful route. While it is not technical, the constant change in elevation of the undulating course makes it “hard”. As well as it is almost too runable. 
Only had 45 minutes of uphill speed hiking or leaving aid stations speed hiking while drinking/eating.
Managed to have even splits for the first and second half. Happy about that.
I am really happy that I focused my training a lot on “rolling hills” and lots of EG, which in Göteborg means lots of change (up and down) in elevation. Undulating like here.
