As people start to wake up, over 3.2 million people are without power. This is St Petersburg in Pinellas County. Florida and North Carolina are both facing long roads to recovery from recent hurricanes, we’re in this together.

PINELLAS COUNTY, Fla. — Closed sections of Gulf Boulevard are set to reopen at 6 p.m. Sunday (September 29).

Set to reopen:

• north and southbound lanes from 150th Ave (Tom Stuart Causeway) south to 140th Ave in Madeira Beach
• Park Blvd Bridge to 19th Ave (Tiki Gardens County Park) in Indian Shores

Gulf Boulevard from Bellair Beach to St. Pete Beach will be reopened to residents...

If you evacuated and left an electric vehicle or golf cart in your garage or under a building and you are not able to get to it or move it, we want you to let us know. Please contact our county information center at 727 464-4333 and give them your address so we can share it with the local fire departments. We are not able to let residents on to the barrier islands yet because we're still clearing the roads, but we'll let you know when that changes.
