Who else is obsessed with the garden store?
Tell me about the beautiful plants you got or have plans to get or just love to talk about?

Welcome to the Roof of the World!
Our latest issue is dedicated to the remarkable #biology, #ecology, #diversity, and #evolution of the #Himalayas, a region that has captured hearts and minds for generations!

The unique Pan-#Himalaya flora is crucial for understanding the #evolutionary history of mountainous #biodiversity. Liu et al. propose a phylogenetic regionalization of the Pan-Himalayan vascular flora. https://doi.org/10.1111/jse.13166

1/8 Exciting developments in biology!
Our research investigates the 24-hour, biological clock in plants, now using absolute protein quantification thanks to Uriel Urquiza’s hard work with me, Karen Halliday and Nacho Molina.
It points to some simple conclusions, some unknown regulatory mechanisms and the promise of a whole new level of understanding.
The Pan-#Himalaya region is home to several #biodiversity hotspots. Yang et al. review #plant #diversity surveys in the region and propose special focus be given to northern Myanmar and Yarlung Zangbo–Brahmaputra.

#Plants have #evolved sophisticated immune systems, but there's still so much we don't know about them! Here, Yan et al. report that #rice E3 ubiquitin ligases balance #immunity and #yield through non-proteolytic ubiquitination.
