This easy walk on #Anglesey is through Newborough Forest and out to the spectacular tidal LLanddwyn Island (Ynys Llanddwyn), with its unusual lighthouse. Great views of the mountains of Snowdonia and fantastic beaches. Details at tinyurl.com/bd9z2vbt

Despite breaking her leg and ankle back in February and having a heart attack a few months ago, my partner still wanted to do the walk to Cable Bay. So, as the storm had passed, I dropped the car off, jogged back to where we're staying and we walked over there with Al. Think he was quite glad for a lift back, too, after the last few days of windy and often wet walking.

Another new portfolio now live!
A collection of my favourite/best work from North Wales' beautiful Isle of Anglesey https://www.iancylkowski.com/north-wales/ynys-mon-anglesey-south-stacks
Home to expansive beaches, pristine sand dunes, sheer cliffs, and Europe’s longest town name!
I hope you like this newest batch of work.
The upcoming film #Madfabulous, about the 5th Marquess of #Anglesey and filmed recently on the island, featured in the Observer today. https://www.theguardian.com/film/2024/nov/24/the-bowie-of-his-era-new-biopic-charts-wild-life-of-cross-dressing-victorian-peer
In terms of wind, the worst impacts will be felt on Sat in NW #Wales (50-60mph), especially on #Anglesey and along the coasts (possibly up to 70mph). It will be less windy on Sun but still blustery. #MetOffice and #NaturalResourcesWales have issued Yellow (Be Aware) warnings for Rain/Wind & flooding, respectively. Hunker down and stay safe all; it’s going to be a wild one! 2/2
Just listening to "The Birth of Music" on BBC Radio 4 - asking what type of #music #Neolithic people might have created. Could it be "a rave in the cave?" Includes a musician recording music inside #Anglesey's Bryn Celli Ddu. Listen here: https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/m0025468
#Happy @Wednesday from the valley.
I know that the world is becoming an increasingly precarious place, but all we can do is control how we respond to it.
I am looking forward to the new US reality show beginning in January and lasting for....well, we'll see.
King Donald the 1st will be so funny in it. Don't think much of the supporting cast, though.
Meanwhile, we've booked a 2 week #Christmas holiday on our favourite island of #Anglesey, & that is our reality & always will be.
Such fun!
