The specialized manufacturing #Premana in #Italy is known for involves the production of #cutlery - in particular, knives, scissors and safety razors - here's the Wikipedia entry in English on Premana: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Premana - it's a fascinating little place.
Imagine walking through the forest, losing consciousness, and teleporting to a Björk rave.
I'm currently working on two new utility #knives . One of which is a commission.
I'm trying to make through-bristles.
The top one is not hardened yet, it's #sandwich #steel. If you look closely, you'll see that on the cutting line there's a different grade of steel...

Ok, these Fissler recycled stainless steel knives are wicked sharp — almost as sharp as the blister packs they were in that I had to use poultry shears on to get open.

One of the three #kitchen #knives "ai-deba" style i just finished today.
It is raw #forged. Handle is made of stabilised #poplar #wood and bolster is elm and #brass
It’s a natural law that when you need a teaspoon there is always one in the cutlery drainer by the sink. Even if you emptied it earlier. #naturallaw #teaspoon #cutlery
With thanks to @Passionflower99 on Xitter for posting this gem on #cutlery and #tablemanners. Or as my son once pointed out (rather loudly, I should add) when dining at a US restaurant, aged five, 'look, Mum...that person has no idea how to use their knife and fork at the same time!' https://eatdrinkplay.com/what-your-cutlery-says-about-you/ #foodhistory #dining

Al right peeps, the 1:1 #ColonialViper ( #BSG | https://www.buildsbybaz.com/) build is basically done but Baz is stuck now. He made plans for a trailer to haul it around but he is out of materials: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4EfnB02gxFg
Baz is not asking for donations yet. Personally I think he should, because his builds spark joy in the heart of people. Like his awesome build of an #IronMan suit for the benefit of sick kids in hospitals did before.
We may even support him without some GoFundMe. If you’re into #cutlery you may be interested in some of his #knives at https://shop.buildsbybaz.com/.
I’ll update this should I learn about a GoFundMe campaign, of course.

A rather fun piece of art - a cockerell made from cutlery, by Ed Hill.
Sustainability tip: instead of using and reusing plastic utensils, just go to your local thrift store and buy real forks, spoons, knives (they're usually 50 cents or at most a dollar each), and wash them. They're affordable enough you don't have to worry about losing them, no plastic leaching, and they don't break when you try to use them! #sustainability #forks #spoons #cutlery #lunch

@ami_angelwings #Cutlery, Ami. Or #brushes. Yep, that's the ticket.
For disposable cutlery, the forks often seem to have no sharp-ish points on the ends of the tines if they cost less than $0.10US per fork.
Anyone know if forks like the one’s I’m linking have sharp enough times to stab food well and also don’t add plastic to the world or persist forever?
