A new adventure day for Indy. We are heading to Lanai for the first time! He is taking the ferry ride in stride, but it helps that the ocean is calm today.

Any roadtrip is not complete unless Indy is present. He got to visit a black sand beach and enjoy a little bit of sights and sunshine.

Took the drone on a roadtrip yesterday to the South-side. The hills, the water and the black-sand beach were all lovely in the afternoon light.

It is a beautiful afternoon here in Maui. I have curated a specific aesthetic in my office and we have arrived at the time of year where one of the silicon wafers lights up in the afternoon sunlight. It makes me happy to see it lit up with a full rainbow of colors.

I had a lot of folks show me the photos they took of the moon on their phones from last night. Phones are getting better each year, but my Sony A7r V shows there still isn't a replacement yet for an SLR/DSLR, a good lens, and a little bit of knowledge. Exposure bracketing made this one of the best moon photos I have ever taken.

Indy is just as happy being indoors as he is outdoors. The most important thing is that he is able to tag along with us. Here he is enjoying a happy hour with us.

Indy is here to remind you to go talk a walk in the woods (if you have them). Birdsong, tree smells, fresh air, cool breezes, and the sound of leaves crunching under your feet is always worth it.

I was trying to take a picture of Ramona with the rainbow in the background. She was being her normal un-cooperative self. Some nice guy offered to take a picture of both of us. I don't post many pictures of myself, but this came out pretty good. He captured Ramona's exuberance saying hello to her new best friend.

You don't have to get up stupid early to catch a glimpse of Mauna Kea from Haleakal? on Maui, about 80 miles away. My suggestion is to go up when the gate opens (usually 7am for those without a early morning lottery permit thingy) and you will have more time

Statt EIN Account besser MEHRERE spezifisch pro Thema auf einer Instanz die dieses Thema als Schwerpunkt setzt?

We took to the mountains on Saturday to escape the vog and our phones. There are many places on Maui where you don't have cell phone signals -- just the sounds of the wind and forest birds. Indy enjoyed the journey and we all got a great view of Mauna Kea (with snow!) and Mauna Loa.
